ABOUT ME
"My mission is to help women struggling with stress, anxiety, and low self-worth find safety within themselves — guiding them from survival mode to a life filled with joy."
My name is Caroline Flindt, and I am a certified Holistic Life Coach, trained by Helena Omfors.
Today, I work as a Intuitive Coach, using my unique method. In short, I help women who have lost their way reconnect with their own worth and find their way back home to themselves.
I truly love my work. As a person, I am curious and open, always eager to learn and grow. I continuously keep myself updated on the latest in personal development and holistic health. I attend courses and seminars, and regularly exchange ideas with colleagues. I also receive mentor and business coaching from time to time to further develop both myself and my business..
My own 12-year healing journey — which you can read more about further down this page — has given me invaluable insights and experience in my work.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
"Before I arrived where I am today, I spent 15 years in the world of interiors and lifestyle magazines."
After studying furniture and spatial design at the School of Architecture in Aarhus, I worked as a freelance interior stylist in Copenhagen and was later employed at Bolig Magasinet, where I spent 10 years as a stylist and editor. I then continued as a freelancer, creating home features and offering interior design consultations.
What I especially loved about working in the world of design and interiors were the personal encounters and conversations with inspiring, creative people who pursued their passion wholeheartedly, leaving unique and personal marks on the world.
Those years gave me invaluable experience, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to help and inspire others to create harmonious and welcoming homes.
Over time, however, the magazine industry became increasingly pressured, and I found myself drifting further away from what truly lit me up — having time for inspiration and meaningful dialogue with people. At the same time, I was confronted with my own past, shaped by grief, trauma, and low self-worth. All of this contributed to a period of burnout and sick leave.
Although it was a challenging time, it has shaped me into the person I am today and led me to the work I now love — and feel deeply grateful for.
You can find my full CV, including recommendations from my 10 years at Bolig Magasinet, on LinkedIn.
"As adults, we are responsible for our own lives. If we experienced traumatic events as children, it is our task as adults to seek help and work through the wounds and traumas from our childhood as best we can. It’s not easy — but it’s not impossible either."
CAROLINE
MY PERSONAL STORY
"My third stress collapse became my turning point, and I have promised myself never again to compromise my physical or soul needs."
On February 1st, 2019, my world came to a halt.
I hit rock bottom and went on long-term sick leave for the third time with PTSD and stress-related burnout. This breakdown became my awakening and the start of a long healing journey — one that has taken me to a place the “old Caroline” could never have imagined. My last stress collapse opened a new chapter in my life, and after 15 years in the interior design industry, I changed paths and became a certified Holistic Life Coach with Helena Omfors in 2022.
From Body Control and Shame to Self-Care
I had struggled with low self-worth and body shame since childhood. At the age of nine, I was put on a diet, which left me feeling wrong and ashamed. As the classic “good girl,” I kept up appearances and tried to live up to both my own and others’ expectations — at the expense of my health.
Today, I have worked through this trauma and moved from trying to control my body to caring for it. I now listen to my body’s intuitive signals and experience a deeper sense of calm and self-love.
From Fear of Death to Joy of Life
When I was 17, my father died in a plane crash — an event that left me with years of anxiety. Through deep trauma work, I have found peace, and fear no longer controls my life. Today, I see every day as a gift.
The Road to Healing
Looking back, I can clearly see how my old patterns, unresolved trauma, and low self-worth all contributed to the downward spiral and my three serious breakdowns. It took many years before I received the right help — partly because I didn’t fully understand what trauma and a dysregulated nervous system can do to a person, and partly because I lacked the self-worth to stand up for myself.
We all carry big and small traumas, but they do not have to define us. Stress and anxiety can affect anyone, but there is always hope. Listening to the body and building self-worth are key to finding balance — and most importantly, you don’t have to do it alone. Ask for help.
Creating Change Together
The story above is my own — yours will, of course, be different. As your coach, I will help you uncover your unique core challenges and explore new, more constructive perspectives on them.
It can be hard to carry the weight alone and even harder to see things clearly. My wish is to support you and give you tools and guidance to create a life with more energy, balance, and joy.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Warmly,
Caroline

PERONAL LIFE
I’m 47 years old and originally from Halmstad, Sweden, but Denmark has been my home since 1999.
Today, I live in charming Frederiksberg with my husband, Christian — an architect and designer — and our wonderful 15-year-old daughter, Viola.
Outside of work, I find joy in life’s simple and beautiful moments: sketching and painting, exploring inspiring places, cooking delicious meals, getting lost in a good book, practicing Sensing Yoga and Yin Yoga, and walking in nature.
Most of all, I cherish spending quality time with my family and friends — but as an empath and highly sensitive person, I also deeply value my alone time.
